At The Beach Fiber Show!

This is a Fine Opportunity!

Fine Points and Mitchell’s Fine Chocolates are coming together for an exiting summer event. Textile artists are invited to submit work for a juried show which will be on display at Mitchell’s on Lee Rd in the theme of “At The Beach”.

We are looking for original work in any fiber craft: quilting, knitting, weaving, felting, mixed media, etc. This theme can be interpreted as you wish. Eg: The blanket in the photo above reminds us of sand. Pieces must be no larger than 8′ tall x 8′ wide and be wall-mountable: meaning, it can hang on the wall, on a hanger, or dowel rod, or hook of some kind. It does not have to be framed. It can be a piece of clothing or a wrap.  I can be a throw.  Artists must submit photographs of their work with a description of the object. You may submit up to 3 pieces. Entries must be emailed to liz@finepoints.com by June 20th. Mitchell’s will host a reception and the exhibit will run through July and August.

This is a first for Fine Points and we couldn’t be more excited! Please be in touch with any questions. Late entries will not be accepted.
